The 2013 Nissan Sentra sedan seats five and is available in four trims: S, SV, SR and SL. All are powered by a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine that makes 130 horsepower.
Sentra S comes with a 6-speed manual transmission ($15,990) or CVT ($17,260) and rear drum brakes. Sentra S comes standard with cloth upholstery, manually operated air conditioning, a six-way manual driver's seat, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power door locks and windows, trip computer, 60/40 split folding rear seats, a four-speaker audio system with single CD player, auxiliary audio jack and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers.
Sentra SV ($17,970) is available only with the CVT and includes upgraded cloth upholstery, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, cruise control, and a six-speaker audio system.
Options include the Driver Package ($1,000), which adds pushbutton start, a 4.3-inch display screen, Bluetooth handsfree phone connectivity, satellite radio capability, a USB port and automatic headlights. The Navigation Package ($650) adds a 5.8-inch color touchscreen with navigation, the NissanConnect interface, Bluetooth streaming audio, real-time traffic and weather capability, and a handsfree text messaging assistant that reads text messages out loud. The Premium Package ($1,200) includes an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, auto-dimming rearview mirror and power sunroof. Standalone options include fog lights ($310) and a rear decklid spoiler ($295).
A Fuel Economy (FE) package ($400) is available on S and SV trims and includes a rear spoiler, additional underbody aerodynamic enhancements, and low-rolling resistance tires for less drag and improved fuel economy. It's good for an additional one mpg on the highway (city and combined EPA ratings are the same).
Sentra SR ($18,870) will get you unique sport cloth upholstery, sport front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SR Driver Package ($1,080) adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, pushbutton start, a six-speaker audio system with 4.3-inch display screen, satellite radio capability, Bluetooth handsfree phone connectivity, automatic headlights, and rear disc brakes. As with the SV, the Navigation and Premium packages are also available.
Sentra SL ($19,760) upgrades to premium cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, chrome accents on gauges, wood-tone interior trim and everything found on the SV Driver package. Options include the Navigation and Premium packages, plus a Leather package ($1,030), which includes leather upholstery, heated front seats and rear disc brakes.
Safety equipment on all models include includes dual-stage front airbags, front side airbags, roof-mounted side curtain airbags, antilock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and traction control.
