Welcome to Hummel's Nissan's official ALTIMA Page!  Our NISSAN Altima is arguably the most important model in the entire NISSAN line up.  It is our best selling vehicle (40 - 65 new Altimas per month), and accounts for nearly 1/3 of all new Nissans sold in the United States. 

It is Consumer Reports Top Rated Sedan once again for 2011, as well as a Consumer Digest's "Best Buy".  We are also proud of its outstanding crash test ratings by the U.S. Government and the Insurance Institue for Highway Safety (IIHS).  Here is the IIHS review of the 2011 Nissan Altima.

• The dummy's position in relation to the steering wheel and instrument panel after the crash test indicates that the driver's survival space was maintained well (Institute test car shown).
• Smeared greasepaint indicates where the dummy's head brushed across the side curtain airbag and dislodged headliner. This airbag did not deploy in the test conducted by Nissan.
• Intrusion into the driver's space was minimal in both tests, and all leg and foot injury measures were low.
